As a seasoned crafter with years of experience creating custom holiday decor, I've perfected this coastal-style Christmas wreath that's simple to make and versatile enough for year-round display. Wrap Styrofoam balls in twine and yarn, then secure them into a wreath form. Add decorative rattan balls, seashells, and ornaments for a beachy vibe. After the holidays, simply remove the festive accents to enjoy it anytime.

Cut burlap into 3-inch strips. Secure one end to the foam wreath with a hot glue gun, then wrap it tightly around the form. Apply glue at intervals to hold everything in place securely.

Wrap foam balls of varying sizes in yarn and twine for texture and color. Hot glue the yarn end to the ball, wind tightly until fully covered, then glue and tuck the tail securely under the wraps.

Plan your layout for balanced design. Cut skewers in half at an angle to create points on both ends. Insert one end into a foam ball and the other into the wreath form.

Hot glue rattan balls directly to the wreath. Hold each in place until the glue sets fully for a firm hold.

Glue seashells and starfish between the rattan balls and yarn balls using the hot glue gun for seamless integration.

Intersperse holiday ornaments with the yarn balls for festive flair. Hot glue Styrofoam-based decorations; others may clip on easily. Post-holidays, swap them out for plain yarn or twine accents.
Optionally, glue a large hanging ornament in the center and dust starfish with glitter for extra shimmer.

Choose the top side. Thread ribbon under foam balls, tying a knot at the wreath top and another higher up for secure hanging.

Hang your wreath and fill any gaps with extra balls or shells. For durability, add hot glue to loose areas once everything is positioned.
