Print the paper pattern and assemble it by taping the pieces together as instructed. Cut along the black lines to form the dinosaur shape. From your fabric, cut out two dinosaur pieces, mirrored to face opposite directions.

Thread a needle and securely sew buttons onto each dinosaur piece at the eye placement marks on the pattern.

Layer the two felt pieces together. Cut triangle shapes along the top edge down the strip, leaving the bottom 3/4" intact and connected.

Pin the felt strips together and sew along the outer edges of the triangles to join them securely.

Align the straight edge of the felt strip along the top curve of one dinosaur fabric piece, between the start and end marks. Sew with a 1/4" seam allowance.

Place the two dinosaur fabric pieces right sides together and pin along all outer edges, leaving the bottom of one foot open. Ensure felt tips are tucked inside without protruding; fold inward if needed. Sew around, leaving the foot opening.

Clip the seam allowances in all curved areas to reduce bulk.

Turn the dinosaur right side out through the foot opening. Use a finger or dull tool to push out all edges smoothly.

Fill the dinosaur completely with polyester stuffing through the open foot. Fold the raw edges inward and prepare to close.

Now you have a charming softie dinosaur toy—perfect as a baby shower gift, birthday present, or delightful ornament for any child.
