How to make a toy marshmallow catapult

The simplest toys are the best

This catapult requires only a few materials, but provides a lot of fun. Get ready with lots of marshmallows or small pom poms for hours of play. Add competition to the fun by downloading and printing some of our goals. Place them on the ground so kids can shoot them and see what it takes to make the perfect bull's-eye.

Step 1

Gather tools and materials

You'll need:10 craft sticks/popsicle sticks, four rubber bands, craft paint, a foam brush, a bottle cap, a hot glue gun, "ammo" (marshmallows/pom poms), and then click here to download the target.

Paint the sticks

Paint all craft sticks; They can be the same color or different colors. Let the paint dry completely.

Attach two pieces for the base

Once the paint is dry, attach two rubber bands at one end, then set aside.

Stage 4

Make the cross/wing piece

Stack the remaining eight sticks together with a rubber band at both ends.

Connect

Slide the stack of eight sticks between the two sticks you've already put together.

Make an X in the center

Use the fourth rubber band to secure all the craft sticks together.

Attach headline "ammo"

Use a hot glue gun to secure a bottle cap to the end of the catapult. This is a perfect place to place marshmallows or small pom poms.

Print Target

Download and print the objective. Load up on mini marshmallows and have fun!
