This quick, budget-friendly project transforms reclaimed electrical wires into a vibrant, weather-resistant wreath. As a salvage expert, I've used these colorful, durable cables in countless handmade crafts for stunning results.
Wire cutters
Heavy-duty stapler
Glue gun
Hammer
Reclaimed electrical cable
Flat wood wreath shape (12 or 6 inches)
Pinecones (small to medium)
Red berry twigs
White spray paint
Source old wires or cables that are pliable yet sturdy. Use wire cutters to cut them into random but roughly similar lengths.

Spray the wooden wreath shape evenly with white spray paint. Allow it to dry completely.
Fold the wires into loops and staple them securely to the wooden ring. Position longer pieces toward the back and shorter ones in the front, filling the ring evenly around its circumference.

If needed, use a hammer to tap staples fully into the wood. If any wire slips from a staple, reposition it and hammer it down firmly.

Trim red berry twigs to fit around the wreath as needed. Secure them in place with hot glue.

Glue pinecones over the stapled wire sections to neatly cover the ends and add texture.
