For this delightful project, start with an old thrift store headboard painted white. Gather fallen birch branches, paint them white, attach to the headboard, and embellish with charming birds and ribbons for a magical forest vibe.

Sand the headboard and its frame, then paint white. Apply two coats if needed for smooth, even coverage.

Arrange branches on the headboard for the perfect layout and scale, trimming where needed. Paint branches white with two coats on all sides. Once dry, spray with adhesive and dust with glitter for enchanting sparkle.

Position branches and secure with metal straps—use narrower ones for thinner branches. Screw straps firmly, adding extras for stability.
Install the headboard, then adorn with birds, ribbons, and other whimsical touches.
