
With a hammer, carefully break the tiles into smaller, manageable pieces. Remove the backing from each piece to avoid scratching the table surface—a pro tip from years of hands-on mosaics.

Sort and lay out your favorite tiles on the table first. This step ensures a cohesive design before committing with adhesive.


Using a 3/16” notched trowel, apply adhesive in small sections to prevent drying. Press tiles firmly into place (Image 1). Trim with tile nippers for perfect fits (Image 2)—precision yields professional results.

After tiles set, work grout into joints and wipe excess with a sponge. Dry for 24 hours, then pour mixed epoxy over the surface. Cure another 24 hours for a durable, glossy finish.
