6 different styles of vintage sheets or pillowcases
1 vintage flat sheet to serve as a picnic tablecloth
5 to 6 rolls of different ribbons or threads
10 round stones about 2 inches in diameter

Wash, dry, and iron the sheets or pillowcases. Opt for old colored sheets to capture that authentic vintage vibe.
Cut the fabric into 1-inch wide strips, varying lengths from 24 to 27 inches. On at least two strips, trim the ends for a fringed effect.
Lay the strips in a star shape, right sides down. Place a round stone in the center, gather from below, and flip over—like a mini Halloween ghost.
Secure the stone with a 24-inch ribbon. Add two more ribbons at the top, leaving long tails for flair.
Wrap excess fabric around the stone's top and glue in place. Let layers of different fabrics peek through from below for visual interest.
Sew the curtain clip to the fabric tip atop the stone. Stitch around 6-8 times, knot securely, and trim the thread.
Drape the tablecloth over the table—for our vintage style, we chose a checkered pattern flat sheet. Clip the weights evenly around the edges.
