How to Turn a Glass Jar Into a Stunning Christmas Tealight Holder.

What you need

- 2 large glass jars

- red and green limestone effect paint

- special paint tape

- 1 cardboard box

- 1 tree-shaped stencil

- 1 brush brush

- scissors

- 1 pen

- Epsom salt

- 2 "tealight" candles

- 2 white or gold bells

- colored string or green and red satin ribbon

How to

1. Cut three strips of adhesive tape, 10 cm each.

2. On the edge of a cardboard box, glue these strips one below the other. They should overlap every 3 by about 2 mm.

3. Place your tree-shaped stencil on these 3 strips.

4. Using a pen, trace the silhouette of the tree on the adhesive strips.

5. Once the tree has been drawn, gently peel off the 3 adhesive strips at the same time.

6. Cut out the tree shape drawn on the adhesive tapes.

7. On the outside of the jar, glue the tree you just cut out.

8. Use a credit card to smooth the tape over the jar. This is important so that the paint does not "bleed" afterwards.

9. Using the paintbrush, cover the jar with limestone effect paint.

10. Let the jar dry for 10 minutes "upside down", placed on paper towel.

11. Spread a second coat of paint on the jar. Leave to dry for 20 minutes.

12. Once the paint is completely dry, remove the tree-shaped adhesive from the jar.

14. Put a candle in the jar.

15. Thread the bells on the 2 ribbons and attach them to the "neck" of the jar.
