How to Make a Fringed Christmas Tree Centerpiece

Introduction

We cut white burlap (could use bedding or other loosely woven fabric) into long strips and then glued them around a cone shape to make these textured mantle decorations or centerpieces. Use any color fabric to match your decor and dress it up with your favorite color palette.

Attach the fabric to the cone

Add double-sided tape around the entire bottom of the cone, about 1/2 inch from the edge. Add a strip of fringed burlap (fringe side on bottom) and press the ribbon. Trim off the excess where the two edges meet and overlap.
