I've crafted these textured Christmas tree centerpieces using white burlap—or any loosely woven fabric like old bedding—cut into strips and glued around a cone form. They're perfect for mantels or tables. Match the fabric color to your decor and accent with your favorite holiday palette for a custom look.

Cut fabric strips about 2 inches wide. Gently pull the lengthwise threads to fringe one side of each strip, creating that signature textured edge.

Apply double-sided tape around the entire bottom of the cone, positioning it about 1/2 inch from the edge. Place a fringed burlap strip (fringe side down) onto the tape and press firmly. Trim any excess where the ends meet and overlap securely.

Continue layering strips around the cone until you reach the top. Use your fingers to gently run through the fringe, shaping it into soft curves for a natural, fluffy appearance.

Display the trees in medium-sized mercury glass jars as sturdy bases. Nestle them into mason jars half-filled with faux snow, then sprinkle extra snow around your table or mantel. Top off with pinecones or your favorite holiday ornaments.
