Bring festive cheer to your indoor Easter celebrations with a vibrant tassel-decorated tree branch. As a mom and avid crafter, I've found that tissue paper, twine, and washi tape create the cutest mini tassels. Hung from a simple branch, they're bright, cheerful, and utterly delightful.

I turned yard cleanup into fun by enlisting my daughter to pick sticks, declaring one the ideal branch. Anchor it securely in a tall vase filled with sand for stability.

Slice tissue paper into 3" x 5" rectangles. Opt for spring hues. You'll need washi tape, twine or ribbon, and scissors—fringe scissors speed things up nicely.

Fold the tissue paper in half lengthwise.

Using fringe or regular scissors, cut thin strips along the folded edge, stopping 1/2" from the fold.

Open the tissue paper to its full size.

Roll the tissue paper from one end to the other.

Wrap a 6" piece of twine or ribbon around the center and knot securely.

Fold the rolled tassel in half over a length of twine.

Wrap washi tape around the top, just below the knot. Tie the twine into a loop for hanging.

Make as many tassels as needed to fill your Easter tree branch beautifully.
